The mastery of a large vocabulary is one of the characteristics that contribute to the success of learning English. However, there are still many students who lack knowledge of English vocabulary. This is why many students are uninterested and often fearful of learning English. Therefore, this study aims to see the students' ability in understand and answer the test using Google Translate as a learning tool. This research uses quantitative research. That means the problem is solved through data collection by giving pre-test and post-test. There were twenty-five students of SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa who were taken as sample of research. Data collection is done by giving a pre-test then doing treatment, after that giving a post-test. The results of this research reveal that using Google Translate as a learning tool can help students' ability in understand and answer tests. mastery of many vocabularies will make students more confident in learning English. Besides that, Google Translate can be used by students in learning vocabulary and correct pronunciation, students also find it easier in the learning process. Regarding the result of this research, students and teachers are advised to use appropriate learning tools in the learning process, in this case they can use Google Translate. Students are also expected to always learn new vocabulary so that their English skills will be better. Keywords: Vocabulary, Google Translate, Learning Tool.
