This research aims to discover the students��� perceptions toward the implementation of Group Video Project in Speaking for Professional class in the 2020/2021 academic year of English Languange Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The research design was done by using descriptive qualitative method. The data was collected through document analysis and interview. There were eight students of E class in the 2020/2021 academic year who participated in this research. In this research, the researcher found that students of the academic year of 2020/2021 had highly positive perception toward the implementation of group video project. Five aspects of speaking were discussed in this study, and almost all aspects were increased after being calculated. Based on the analysis of the data, although their scores were low, they still showed a positive perception towards group videp project. Thus, it can be concluded that group video project can be applied in teaching speaking. From the finding and discussion, the problems were consistend of speaking aspects; pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.
