This study has the main focus to find out how the process of changing identity from a man to a woman when they have to be and face all obstacles in a real life condition described in the film The Danish Girl based on the theory explained by Freud about the human psychological level. who was assisted by Queer Theory in completing this research. The method used in this design is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is based on a biographical film entitled The Danish Girl directed by Tom Hopper, which was released in 2015. The subject studied is the main character of this film, namely Einar Wegener who later became a Transgender and changed his name to Lili Elbe. Overall, the data obtained through observation of the film which lasts approximately 120 minutes and is adapted to the existing original script as the relevant data source. So based on the data, it was found that there were 39 scenes of Einar as a whole how he became a transgender, of which 27 scenes represented ID, 7 represented EGO and 5 scenes were SUPEREGO. The conclusion is that Einar's change doesn't necessarily change what's inside of him, but everything goes according to the time that exists until he becomes a Transgender.
