Kenyataan yang dihadapi di SMP 2 Satap Kabila Bone adalah adanya siswa yang mengalami masalah pada pembelajaran materi keliling dan luas bangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keliling dan luas bagun datar melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match .
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan tindakan kelas dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMP 2 Satap Kabila Bone dengan jumlah siswa 23 orang yang terdiri dari 8 laki-laki dan 15 perempuan. Dari data yang diperoleh pada saat observasi awal dengan guru bidang studi masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kendala dalam mempelajari materi keliling dan luas bangun datar, yang mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa.
Penelitian tindakan kelas ini berlangsung dua siklus. Hal ini dikarenakan hasil belajar pada siklus I sebagai efek dari tindakan yang dikenakan belum memenuhi kriteria.
Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah siklus I diperoleh hasil analis tes yaitu 57,9 % atau 11 orang dari 19 siswa yang mendapat nilai diatas 6,7, dan 42,1 % atau 8 orang mendapat nilai dibawah 6,7. Dengan daya serap siswa 60,42 %. Dan pada siklus II telah mengalami perubahan atau peningkatan baik aktivitas siswa pada hasil pengamatan dan hasil tes. Pada kegiatan belajar mengajar telah meningkat, yang pada siklus I daya serap siswa sebesar 60,42 % menjadi 74,6 %.
Dengan demikian proses belajar mengajar telah sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan, dengan kata lain hipotesis yang berbunyi hipotesis tindakan pada penelitian ini berbunyi jika guru menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match pada materi keliling dan luas bangun di kelas VII SMP 2 SATAP Kabila Bone akan meningkat diterima, maka untuk siklus lanjutan dianggap tidak lagi diperlukan.

Problems faced in SMP 2 SATAP Kabila Bone is the students who are having problems learning the material in circumference and wide awake. This study aims to improve the ability of students to student learning outcomes in material circumference and area get up through the use of cooperative learning model make a match.
This research is a classroom action research carried out in the eighth grade junior SATAP Kabila Bone 2 by the number of students 23 people consisting of 8 men and 15 women. From the data obtained at the time of initial observation by teachers of many students who experience difficulties in learning the material circumference and area up, which resulted in lower student learning outcomes.
This classroom action research lasted two cycles. This is because the learning outcomes in the first cycle as the effects of the measures taken do not meet the criteria.
The results of this study were obtained by the analyst first cycle test is 57.9% or 11 of the 19 students who scored above 6.7, and 42.1% or 8 scored below 6.7. With 60.42% of students absorption. And the second cycle has undergone a change or an increase in both student activity on the observations and results of tests. On teaching and learning activities have increased, the absorption capacity in the first cycle of students by 60.42% to 74.6%.
Thus the learning process has been in accordance with what is expected, in other words the hypothesis hypothesis in this study reads action if teachers implement cooperative learning model make a match in material circumference and wide awake in class VII SMP 2 SATAP Kabila Bone will increase accepted, then the cycle continued to be no longer needed.
