Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal open-ended pada materi operasi bilangan bulat di SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif .
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat dilihat rata-rata kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal open-ended paling tinggi 60 % . Hal ini juga dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan uji t nilai thitung = -2,82 untuk ? = 0,05 diperoleh nilai tdaftar = -1,71. Hal ini menunjukkan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan diterimanya hipotesis penelitian (H1) yang menyatakan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal open-ended di SMP Negeri 2 Limboto paling tinggi 60%.

Objective of this research is to determine the extent of students skills to solve open-ended questions on the material integers at state SMP 2 of Limboto. Method of research in here is descriptive qualitative method.
Based on the result, we can see the highest average of students skills in solving open-ended question is 60 %. It can be proved by the value calculatron of t test tarithmetic=-2,82 for ? = 0,05 value obtained tlist=-1,71. This indicate the null hypothesis Ho is rejected, and acceptance of the research hypothesis (H1) which states that average ability of students in solving open-ended highest 60%.
