Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi Heuristik vee dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif pada materi relasi dan fungsi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Negeri Batudaa pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Posttest-Only Control Design. Sampel penelitian diperoleh sebanyak dua kelas dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Probability Sampling. Probability Sampling yang digunakan adalah Simple Random Sampling yang terdiri dari kelas Eksperimen menggunakan strategi pembelajaran heuristik vee sebanyak 25 siswa dan kelas Kontrol menggunakan Strategi pembelajaran aktif sebanyak 39 siswa. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa berbentuk uraian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan statistika parametrik Uji t independen diperoleh hasil thitung sebesar 2,61 dan ttabel pada taraf nyata = 0,05 sebesar 1,68 maka thitung> ttabel. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan strategi pembelajaran heuristik vee terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa pada materi relasi dan fungsi.

This study aims to find out the differences in the results of students' mathematical connection skills between those who take part in the study using vee-heuristic strategies and those who use active learning strategies in material relations and functions. This research was conducted at Islamic Junior High School Mts Negeri Batudaa in the even semester of the 2016/2017 school year. The method used in this study is an experimental method with the design of 'Posttest-Only Control Design.' The research sample was obtained using Probability Sampling as many as two classes. Probability Sampling used is Simple Random Sampling which consists of the Experiment class using vee-heuristic learning strategies of 25 students and the Control class using the active learning strategy of 39 students. The data are retrieved byusing test instruments of students' mathematical connection skill in the form of description. Based on the hypothesis testing used independent t-test statistical parametric, it is retrieved that the tcount is 2,61 and tlist in the level of significance = 0,05 is 1,68. Thus the tcount>tlist. It shows that there is an effect of the application of vee-heuristic learning strategies on students' mathematical connection skills in material relations and functions.
