Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika pada ujian semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi yang hendak mengambarkan hasil belajar siswa pada ujian semester genap. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Pinogaluman tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 57 orang. Data di kumpulkan melalui hasil belajar ujian semester genap. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan setelah itu dideskripsikan. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar matematika pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pinogaluman belum maksimal. Persentase secara umum capaian rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pinogaluman yakni hanya mencapai 34,43 dengan kriteria sangat rendah.

This research aims to describe students mathematics learning outcome at the final examination in the second semester of the academic year of 2017/2018. A descriptive method was employed to describe such an issue. This research subject involved 57 students at Grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pinogaluman in the academic year of 2017/2018. The data collected from the final examination outcome were analyzed and described. The result shows that students mathematics learning outcome in the site area has not achieved a good category. The general percentage of their average outcome is only 34.43 percent with a very low criterion.
