Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kecenderungan hasil belajar matematika pada materi komposisi fungsi dan fungsi invers di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Limboto Barat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 orang dikelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Limboto Barat. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar matematika dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda pada materi komposisi fungsi dan fungsi invers. Untuk melihat hasil belajar matematika digunakan 4 indikator yaitu: (a) mengingat, (b) memahami, (c) menerapkan, (d) menganalisis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika pada materi komposisi fungsi dan fungsi invers tergolong kategori sedang. Untuk indikator pertama mengingat, terdapat 77,78 % berada pada kategori tinggi; dan 22,22 % berada pada kategori rendah. Untuk indikator memahami yaitu 11,11 % berada pada kategori tinggi; 38,9 % berada pada kategori sedang dan 50 % berada pada kategori rendah. Indikator menerapkan yaitu 55,56 % berada pada kategori tinggi; 38,89 % berada pada kategori sedang; 5,56 % berada pada kategori rendah. Untuk indikator menganalisis yaitu 38,89% berada pada kategori tinggi; 38,89 % berada pada kategori sedang, 22,22 % berada pada kategori rendah. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa indikator tertinggi kecenderungan hasil belajar pada materi komposisi fungsi dan fungsi invers di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Limboto Barat yaitu pada indikator 1 (mengingat, 77,78%) dan terendah pada indikator 2 (memahami, 11,11%).

This study aims to obtain the information about the tendency of mathematics learning outcomes on lesson discussing of function composition and inverse functions at the grade XI Social Science Major of Senior High School SMA Negeri 1 Limboto Barat. This descriptive research involved 22 students of the research site as the subjects. The data were acquired from the test of mathematics learning result in the from of multiple choice questions on lesson discussing of function composition and inverse function. There are 4 indicators to analyze the results of mathematics which are: (a) memorizing, (b) understanding, (c) applying, (d) analyzing. The results of data analysis show that the mathematics learning outcomes on the lesson discussing of function composition and inverse functions are classified as a medium category. The first indicator, which is memorizing, there is 77,78% of high category and 22,22% of the low category. The next indicator, understanding, 11,11% is in the high category, 38,9% is in medium category and 50% is in a low category. Furhermore, applying indicator has 55,56% of the high category, 38,89% of the medium category, and 5,56% of the low category. The last indicator, analyzing, has 38,89% of the high category, 38,89% of the medium category, and 22,22% of the low category. Overall, it can be concluded that the highest indicator of learning outcomes on lesson discussing of function composition and inverse functions at the research area is on indicator 1 (memorizing, 77,78%) and the lowest is on indicator 2 (understanding, 11,11%).
