Abstrak
Nurmin, the influences of the using simple visual instrument on students ability in the topic of discussion is lighting in the lens ( an experiment research in MTS Al – Khairat Dudewulo, Popayato class VIII). This research aimed to find out the differences between students ability which teach by using simple visual instrument and the students ability which teach by suing conventional learning method that use power point in material refraction of the lighting in the lens. Research method that been used is quantutative method using experiment approach. The population of this resarch are all fo students existed in class VIII MTS Al- Khairat Deduwulo popayato Pohuwato regency Gorontalo province. The quantity of students are 53 whics existed into two class. The sample were taken by rendom sampling technique. Sample that be used in this research is class VIIIA as the practice class which teach by using simple visual instrument and class VIIIB as the class which teach by using conventional learning by using power point. Analysis the data were done by using relevant test that is examine t. To examine hyphotesis were used statistics analysis to examine the dofferences of two flat that is examine t. The result of research showed that there is any differences of students ability in the class that using simple visual instrument and the class which using power point in material refraction of the lighting in the lens in MTS Al – Khairat Popayato. Based on data finding, it suggested that the simple visual instrument can be used in phisic subject especial in material refraction of the lighting in the lens. in learning process theacher should choice the method, approach and a good modle that can increase the students ability, inorder that students do not sirfeited in following learning activities.
