Abstrak
The purpose of this study is (1) to identify the standard competence and basic competence of physics subject that really not master yet by the Senior High School in Gorontalo Regency; (2) to identify the main factors that made students not master the standard competence and the basic competence of physics subject in Gorontalo Regency. The method that is used in this research was survey methodology or descriptive methodology, and to analyze the data the researcher used qualitatve and quantitative approach. The target population in this study the entire school senior high school in Gorontalo Regency, which implement the National Examination since the year 2007/2010 on the subjects of Physics. Sampling was done by purposive sampling using the instrument Questionnaires, interviews and direct observation by researchers. The research finding showed that the mapping control of standard competence graduation of physics subject that had done on National Examination of Senior High School in Gorontalo Regency in percentage of tabulation was under 70%. Furthermore, the researcher found some crucial factors related to standard competence or basic competence of National Examination of Physics subject of Senior High School in Gorontalo Regency.
