Abstrak
Zulfikar Datuela, 2013. The influence of “Batutakore” learning method toward the students’ ability in making the scientific summary (A research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tapa. Advisor I Drs. Asri Arbie, M.Si and advisor II Raghel Yunginger S.Pd, M.Si. This research is experimental study at SMA N. 1 Tapa which identify the students’ ability in making scientific summary by using the “Batutakore” learning method in the Kalor material. This experimental study aims to find out the differences of students’ ability in making the scientific summary in the class which uses “Batutakore” learning method and the class which doesn’t. The population in this research is all the students in tenth (X) class in SMA N 1 Tapa. In choosing the sampel of this research, the researcher uses Cluster random sampling technique. This research is experimental with Posttest control group design. The data collection technique is use the indicator of ability in making scientific summary. The course materials which is given to the both of classes includes in two which called posttest. The hypothesis of this research is there are differences of students’ ability between class which uses the “Batutakore” learning method (experimental class) and the class which use the discussion method (control class). This is proofed by the average of the results which achieved by the students which use “Batutakore” learning method is higher 98,82 and the other students which use discussion method just 82,83. Keywords: “Batutakore” method, students’ ability in making the scientific summary.
