Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan dasar matematika, dan persepsi siswa terhadap soal-soal fisika dengan hasil belajar fisika. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian survey dengan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa tahun pelajaran 2014-2015 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (a) terdapat hubungan antara kemampuan dasar matematika dengan hasil belajar fisika sebesar 21,92% dengan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,468, (b) terdapat hubungan antara persepsi siswa terhadap soal-soal fisika dengan hasil belajar fisika sebesar 29,96% dengan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,545, (c) terdapat hubungan secara bersama-sama antara kemampuan dasar matematika dan persepsi siswa terhadap soal-soal fisika dengan hasil belajar fisika sebesar 40,78% dengan koefisien korelasi ganda sebesar 0,6368. Dengan demikian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kemampuan dasar matematika, dan persepsi siswa terhadap soal-soal fisika.

The objective of this research is to know the correlation of basic Mathematics ability and students' perception towards Physics and Physics learning achievement. This research is a survey research which used correlation analysis technique in which the sample were 30 students in class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa in 2014-2015 academic year. The results showed that (a) there was a correlation between basic Mathematics ability and Physics learning achievement at 21,92% in which coefficient correlation (r) was 0,468, (b) there was a correlation between students' perception toward Physics questions and Physics learning achievement at 29,96% in which coefficient correlation (r) was 0,545, (c) there was a correlation of basic Mathematics ability and students' perception towards Physics questions and physics learning achievement at 40,78% in which double coefficient correlation was 0,6368. Thus, to improve students' learning achievement in Physics subject should be supported by the improvement of basic Mathematics ability and students' perception towards Physics questions.
