Murniawati, Niwayan Sri. Nim 421411059. 2015. Hubungan Pemahaman Konsep Dan Motivasi Belajar Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa (suatu penelitian yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa Kelas VIII). Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Jurusan Fisika, Fakultas Ilmu Matematika dan Ilmu pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji hubungan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi ganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa dengan sampel yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data diambil menggunakan metode tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis dengan analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi ganda, yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis meliputi uji normalitas, homogen dan linieritas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pemahaman konsep dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 28,623% dan koefisien korelasi parsial 0,534. (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 21,252 % dan koefisien korelasi parsial 0,329.(3) terdapat hubungan yang positif secara bersama-sama antara pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 34,692 % dan koefisien korelasi ganda 0,589. Bagi peneliti yang ingin meneliti lebih jauh tentang tentang pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswa untuk memperhatikan faktor-faktor internal maupun eksternal dari objek yang diteliti.

The aim of this research is to review the correlation of concept understanding and learning motivation with student's learning achievement. This was a multiple correlation research. Population in this research were VIII grade students in SMP Negeri I Suwawa with the total of sample was 30 students. Data were collected through test methond, questionnare and documentation. The hypothesis test through correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, previously done requirements analysis included normality test, homogeneity and linearity. Based on the results, (1) there was a positive correlation between concept understanding and student's learning outcome for 28,623% and partial correlation coefficient was 0,534. (2) There was a positive correlation between learning motivation and student's learning achievement for 21,252% and partial correlation coefficient was 0,329. (3) There was a positive correlation between concept understanding and learning motivation with student's learning achievement 34,692% and multiple correlation coefficient was 0,589. For further researcher who wants to investigate more in depth about concept understanding and students learning motivation, it is recommended to pay attention the imternal factors and external factors of the research object.
