Skripsi, Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Fisika Jurusan Fisika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengengkaji hubungan antara lingkungan sekolah dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika di kelas XI IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi . Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Kelas XI IPA 1 dan IPA II sejumlah 44 siswa, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunkan teknik sampling jenuh di mana semua populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu variabel bebas (lingkungan sekolah) dan variabel terikat (prestasi belajar siswa). Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah metode angket (lingkungan sekolah) dan dokumentasi (prestasi belajar siswa). Nilai koefisien korelasi antara lingkungan dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika sebesar r = 0,483 dengan koefisien determinasi r2 = 0,2332 atau 23,32 %. Pengujian hipotesis berdasarkan perhitungan koefisien korelasinya sangat berarti karena lebih besar dari . Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan antara lingkungan sekolah dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika.

The aim of this research was to find out the relationship between school environment and student's learning achievement in physics subject at class XI of natural sciences. This research was correlation research. The population in this research were students at class XI of natural sciences 1 and natural sciences II amounted to 44, sampling was completed by saturated sampling which require population to be sample. This research consists of two variables which were independent variable (school environment) and dependent variable (student's learning achievement). Correlation coefficient value between environment and student's learning achievement in physics subject was amounted to r = 0.483 with determination correlation r2 = 0.2332 or 23.32%. Hypothesis verification based on the calculation of correlation coefficient was significant because tcount was higher than tlist (3.572 > 2.021). Therefore it can be stated that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, so that it can be concluded that there is relationship between school environment and student's learning achievement in physics subject.
