Meiris Arfan. 2018. "Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik pada Konsep Bunyi dan Cahaya di SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo''. Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Fisika, Jurusan Fisika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada konsep bunyi dan cahaya di SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat ditunjukkan bahwa interpretasi menghasilkan persentase nilai sebesar 70.57% dan 83.71%. Indikator analisis menunjukkan persentase nilai sebesar 56.16% dan 46.50%. Indikator evaluasi menunjukkan persentase nilai 85.18% dan 74.90%. Indikator inferensi menunjukkan persentase nilai 76.70% dan 65.50%. Indikator eksplanasi menunjukkan persentase nilai sebesar 90% dan 81.60%. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada konsep bunyi dan cahaya di kelas XI Ilmu Alam 2 SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo termasuk pada tingkat kriteria sedang, dimana total rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 73.08%.

The research aimed to investigate students' critical thinking ability at sound and light concept in SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo. It took place in SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo in academic year of 2017/2018 and applied descriptive method. The research finding showed that interpretation presented percentage of value for 70.57% and 83.71%, analysis indicator presented percentage of value for 56.16% and 46.50%, evaluation indicator presented percentage of value for 85.18% and 74.90%, inference indicator presented percentage of value for 76.70% and 65.50% and explanation indicator presented percentage of value for 90% and 81.60%. The previous findings led to conclusion drawing namely students' critical thinking ability at sound and light concept in class XI of Natural Science 2 in SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo was in medium criteria in which the average percentage to obtain was 73.08%.
