The aims this study to determine the effect of the use combination of lake sediments Limboto with rice husk as a growing medium on the growth of ground Ipomoea reptans. The experiment was conducted at Green House, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty, Gorontalo State University with Completely Randomized Design, that consists of 4 treatments and 6 replications, ie: A: Ipomoea reptans sediment media 100% (as control), B: sediments and rice husk 75% : 25%. C: sediment media and rice husk with 50% : 50%. D: sediment media and rice husk 25% : 75%. Initial data acquisition performed at 2-week-old plants. then performed each plant increased the age of 1 week for 4 times of observation. The results obtained that the combination Limboto lake sediments with rice husk, make an effect on the leaf and plant height. The treatment which big effect is B treatment (Limboto lake sediments Limboto 75% : 25% rice husk).
