Keanekaragaman lichenes merupakan berbagai macam jenis yang terdapat pada suatu daerah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman lichenes di Hutan Gununng Damar Sub DAS Biyonga Kab Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan telah dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2014 dengan survei ke lokasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu Lichenes yang diperoleh pada empat stasiun lokasi penelitian sebanyak empat spesies yaitu Usnea sp, Parmelia sp, Peltigera collina, Leptogium burnetiae var hirsutum dengan Indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener yang di peroleh pada stasiun I (0,876), stasiun II (0,831), stasiun III (1,063), dan stasiun IV (0,807). Dari ke empat stasiun rata-rata indeks keanekaragamannya rendah.

Diversity Lichenes the types found in the region. The research almed at finding out the various of lichenes in Gunung Damar Sub DAS Biyonga forest of Gorontalo District. The research applied quantitative descriptive method and was conducted in June 2014 with a survey to the location. The results of research that , The kinds of lichenes found in four stations where the research was conducted were as Usnea sp, Parmelia sp, Peltigera collina, and Leptogium burnatiae var hirsutum. With the Shannon-Wiener diversity index that was obtained at station I (0.876), station II (0.831), station III (1,063), and station IV (0.807). Of the four stations on average a low diversity index.
