Abstrak
ABSTRAKKasman, 2014. Pengaruh Penerapan Metode Talking Stick Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Koloid. Pembimbing I Mangara Sihaloho, dan Pembimbing II Julhim S. Tangio Jurusan Kimia Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Kimia F. MIPA Universitas Negeri Gorontalo Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh penerapan metode talking stick terhadap hasil belajar siswapadamaterikoloid. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo, yang berjumlah 94 orang dan tersebar dalam 3 kelas dan sampel yang digunakanyaitukelas XI IPA1 dan kelas XI IPA2. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen. Tes instrument penelitan ini berupa tes objektif yang terdiri dari 20 butir soal. Tes sebelum digunakan dilakukan uji validasi dan reliabiitas. Analisis data menggunakan kriteria pengujian hipotesis yaitu terima H0 jika ttabel = thitung atau tolak H0 jika ttabel ≠ thitung. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai thitung = 1,16 dan ttabel = 1,99, maka Ho ditolak dan H1diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode talking stick terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi koloid.Kata Kunci :Metode Talking Stick, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACTKasman, 2014. Tangio.The research aimed to find out the effect of the applying of talngking stick method toward the students' learning achievement of colloid material. The population of research was all the students' at class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo amounted to 90 students'of there classes. Sample of research was class XI IPA1and XI IPA2 . Design of research was pretest-posttest control group . the data collection used test instrument. The instrument was a multiple choice test with total questions were 20 number. The data were analyzed used hypothesis test criteria which H0 is acceptable if ttable = tcount or H0 is rejected if ttable tcount based on the data analysis, it was gained that tcount = 1,16 and ttable = 1,99, then H0 was rejected andH1 was accepted. Thus, it could be concluded that there was an effect of the applying of talking stick toward the student's learning achievementon colloid material Keywords:Talking Stick Method, Learning Achievement
