Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Tapa dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yakni kelas XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah siswa 26 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 dengan jumlah siswa 25 sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group . Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan mengunakan instrument tes. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes objektif sebanyak 15 butir soal. Analisis data menggunakan kriteria pengujian hipotesis yaitu terima H0 jika thitung < ttabel atau tolak H0 jika thitung > ttabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai thitung = 6,033 dan ttabel = 2,009, sehingga H0 berada pada daerah penolakan atau dengan kata lain menerima H1. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat Pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga.

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) to the mastery of concepts students on the material buffer solution. The population in this study were all class XI IPA SMAN 1 Tapa and samples in this study the class XI IPA 2 by the number of students as an experimental class 26 and class XI IPA 3 by the number of students 25 as the control class. The research design used in this study is the posttest only control group. Data collection by using a test instrument. The research instrument is an objective test as many as 15 items. Analysis of data using criteria that is received H0 hypothesis testing if thitung ttabel. Based on the research and analytical results obtained by value t = 6.033 and table = 2.009, so H0 is in the region of rejection or in other words accept H1. It can be concluded there Effect of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) to the mastery of concepts students on the material buffer solution.
