Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran langsung disertai hierarki konsep untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Kota Gorontalo pada materi termokimia. metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Pembelajaran pada siswa menggunakan desain penelitian one grup pre-tes pos-tes desain. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes instrument tes diagnostik tiga tingkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan miskonsepsi siswa pada ketujuh sub konsep materi termokimia setelah diberikan model pembelajaran langsung disertai hierarki konsep dengan presentasi rata-rata penurunan miskonsepsi siswa sebesar 27,63 %. Hasil statistika menggunakan uji t, diperoleh thitung sebesar 1,91 dan nilai ttabel pada = 0,05; dk = 52 diperoleh sebesar 1,671. Dengan demikian thitung = 1,91 > ttabel = 1,671. Maka hipotesis Ho ditolak dan unutk H1 diterima. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran langsung untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi termokimia dikelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Kota Gorontalo.

This research aims at investigating the influence of direct learning model with hierarchy concept to reduce students' misconception at grade XI Natural Science in SMA Negeri 2 Kota Gorontalo in Thermochemical topic. It applies experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design. Techniques of data collection are instrument test and tree level diacnostic test. Finding reveals that there is a decrease of student' misconception on the seven sub concepts in thermochemical topic after they were treated by direct learning model combined with hierarchy concept by having average percentage for 27,63 %. Statiscical test using t test obtains tcount for 1,91 and ttable at a = 0,05; df = 52 for 1,671. Thus, tcount of 1,91 is higher than ttable of 1,671. Thus HO is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is fluence of direct learning model combined with hierarchy concept to reduce students' misconception at grade XI Natural Science in SMA Negeri 2 Kota Barat Gorontalo in Thermochemical topic.
