Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran materi ikatan kimia berbasis model pembelajaran pemaknaan yang valid, efektif, dan praktis untuk melatihkan sensitivitas moral siswa SMA. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4D (Four D) yang direduksi menjadi 3D, yaitu define, design, dan develop dan diujicobakan di kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa dengan menggunakan One Group Pretest Posttets Design. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari lembar validasi, lembar observasi, angket respon siswa, dan angket sensitivitas moral siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, yaitu: 1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi buku siswa, RPP, LKPD, dan angket sensitivitas moral telah memiliki validitas dengan kategori sangat valid; 2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP yang memiliki kepraktisan dengan kategori sangat tinggi; dan 3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari: (a) aktivis siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih dominan pada aktivitas dua yaitu terdapatnya nilai persentase yang tinggi dari pertemuan sebanyak 26,55% dan pertemuan ke dua sebanyak 26,72%, (b) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan kegiatan pembelajaran menunjukkan respon positif pada semua aspek pernyataan siswa sebesar 90,2%, dan (c) Peningkatan sensitivitas moral dengan kategori sensitif yang ditunjukkan sebesar 81% siswa setelah pembelajaran mencapai tingkatan sensitif serta nilai N-Gain yang diperoleh yaitu 0,78 yang berarti berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran materi ikatan kimia berbasis model pembelajaran pemaknaan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan sensitivitas moral siswa SMA.

This development research aims to produce the product in the form of learning device of chemical bonding material based on the meaning learning model that is valid, effective, and practical to train the moral sensitivity of high school students. Learning Device Development is using 4D model (Four D) which is reduced to 3D, such as define, design, and develop and tested in X grade of SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa by using One Group Pretest Posttets Design. The instruments of data collection consist of validation, observation sheet (instruction learning model sheet and student activity observation sheet), students responds questionnaire of learning model, and moral sensitively questionnaire of students. Technique of data analysis is using descriptive quantitative analysis and qualitative. Based on the data analysis of the research obtain some findings: 1) learning device that is developed include student book, Lesson Plan, Student Work Sheet, and moral sensitively questionnaire that already has validity with very valid category; 2) The practicality of learning device is reviewed from the implementation of Lesson Plan that have practicality with very high category and 3) The effectiveness of learning device is reviewed from: (a) students' activity who indicate that the students are more dominant in activity 2 such as there is a high percentage value from the meeting as much as 26.55% and the second meeting as much as 26,72%, (b) students' response to the learning device and the Learning Activities that showing a positive response to all aspects in the student statements of 90,2%, and (c) Increased moral sensitivity with sensitive category that indicated by 81% of students after learning reach sensitive levels and the grade of N-Gain obtained is 0.78 which means it is in the category of "high". This research was obtained learning device of chemical bonding material based on meaning learning model that is valid, effective, and practical to train the moral sensitivity of high school students.
