Penggunaan pestisida oleh kalangan petani padi di Indonesia sudah merupakan bagian dari kegiatan usaha tani. Endosulfan dan klorpirifos adalah dua jenis pestisida yang banyak digunakan. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya residu pestisida endosulfan dan klorpirifos dan besaran kadar residu pestisida di dalam beras dari Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif menggunakan Kromatografi Gas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada sampel beras dari Kelurahan Moodu, ditemukan adanya residu pestisida endosulfan dengan kadar 0,00182 ppm, sampel beras dari Kelurahan Wongkaditi ditemukan adanya residu pestisida endosulfan dengan kadar 0,1466 ppm dan klorpirifos dengan kadar 0,0134 ppm dan pada sampel beras dari kelurahan Dulomo Selatan ditemukan adanya residu pestisida klorpirifos dengan kadar 0,0155 ppm.

The use of pesticides among rice farmers has alredy been a part of the farming system in Indonesia. Endosulfan and Chlorpyrifos are two types of pesticides that are commonly used. Therefore, this research aimed to investigate the presence or absence of endosulfan and chlorpyrifos pesticides residues, as well as the amount of pesticide residue in the rice of Gorontalo City. It applied qualitative and quantitative methods using gas chromatography. The research finding revealed that in the rice samples from Moodu Village were found endosulfan pesticide residue with the level 0f 0,00182 ppm. Meanwhile, in the rice samples from Wongkaditi Village were found endosulfan pesticide residues with the level of 0,1466 ppm and chlorpyrifos with the level 0,0134 ppm, and in the rice samples from Dulomo Selatan were also found chlorpyrifos pesticide residues with the level of 0,0155 ppm.
