Abstrak
ABSTRACT Public transportation is a transportation which used by most of people. The influence of the factor in organizing of public transportation that tariff determination and Vehicle Operational Cost (VOC), so the lack of tariff determination could be decrease function of public transportation. VOC influeced by 3 factors a. e fixed cost, variable cost and unpredictable cost. Observe characteristics distric Gorontalo City – Bongo Batudaa Pantai Village route has condition hilly topografy so it needed the bigger VOC than VOC of public transportation to serve flat route. Nowday, the total of public transportation to serve by Gorontalo City – Bongo Batudaa Pantai Village route not comparable with amount of passengers, so necessary to doing research aim is kens count of real tariff, VOC and total of public transportation should be serve Gorontalo City – Bongo Batudaa Pantai Village route. Collecting of the data in this research was 2 varied, they were primer data and secunder data. Primer data consists of data the total passengers up and down, distance / long track, and VOC which has done each of vehicles got direct from survey location, statys survey and dinamys survey. Collecting of the data doing by manual during a week start from Monday till Sunday in 12 hours (06.00 – 18.00 Wita). Secunder data such as data of total vehicle has a license and prevails tariff got from stakeholder. The result of VOC had be done by each of kinds vehicles to serve route Gorontalo City – Bongo Batudaa Pantai Village was different such as Mitsubishi T120 ss amount VOC Rp 142.707,19/ day and Toyota Kijang made in 2001 Rp 140.405,44/ day, so it got ideal tariff serves route Gorontalo City – Bongo BatudaaPantai Village Rp 5.800/ passengers. Besides that, as calculation got the total vehicle should need on this route only 8 units. The conclusion of tariff is based on calculate is not to far with Government rules Rp 5.600,00/ passengers, but Government suggested did not give license on Gorontalo City – Bongo BatudaaPantai village route cause total public transportation which process already not compare with total passengers who only a few. This case showed loading factor value got only 61,63% was smaller than loading factor value ideal 80%. Key Words : Public transportation, VOC and tariff.
