Abstrak
ABSTRACT
Public transport is a means to move goods and people from one place to another. Analysis of the needs of public transport can be used to determine the level of performance of public transport and the tariff determined. Sub Kwandang as one of the district as well as the capital of the North Gorontalo district is a district of Gorontalo Regency expansion is the growing district. This of course requires communities to develop local activities and fulfillment. Fulfilling this need not be separated from the need for transportation, one of which is public transport. The number of public transport fleet with route permit Downtown-Kwandang are as many as 53 (fifty three), with data transport on the ground there are as many as 20 fleets, while only 10 active operating fleet. Charges to be paid by each passenger that is fifteen thousand dollars per passenger. This situation that encourages writers to do research on the analysis of public transport fare route-Kwandang Center.
The purpose of this study was threefold, namely to know the Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) of public transportation, to determine the tariff should be based on the calculation of the VOC, and the number fleet needs should be. The data required consists of primary data and secondary data, primary data collection is done by three methods namely static survey to get the number of passengers up and down the terminal, dynamic survey to get the number of passengers up and down in each segment, fare paying passengers, trajectory and distance routes, and investigative survey to obtain data relating to the analysis of VOC, such as fixed costs, variable costs, and unexpected costs.
Based on the results of research and data analysis total VOC for Mitsubishi T120 ss is Rp. 191.875,76 and Suzuki Carry is Rp. 232.852,78 with VOC per kilometer per rit for Mitsubishi is Rp. 1.572,75 and Suzuki Carry is Rp. 1.908,63. By calculation VOC, the fare for the route-City Center Kwandang between Rp. 229.41 up to Rp. 278.40, so the tariff for a single trip between Rp. 13.993,81 / passenger up to Rp. 16.982,33 / passenger. In the calculation of the required fleet size, fleet size should be acquired serving route Central City-Kwandang is 9 fleets.
