Abstrak
Fitriyanti Ui, 2020. The Value Determination of Light Vehicle Equivalent (EKR) towards Auto Rickshaw Vehicle (Bentor) On the Road of Arif Rahman Hakim and Manggis in Gorontalo City. The value of light vehicle equivalent is influenced by vehicle size and speed. The bigger vehicle causes a higher value of light vehicle equivalent while the higher the speed of vehicle causes the lower value of light vehicle equivalent. The research is aimed at understanding the value of light vehicle equivalent of bentor since the vehicle has been included in the traffic and performance of Arif Rahman Hakim and Manggis Roads in Gorontalo City.
The research site was the road of Arif Rahman Hakim and Manggis. The volume of traffic flow was classified into primary data. Data analysis applied simple linear regression and Indonesian Road Capacity Manual in 2014.
The calculation generated the value of light vehicle equivalent on the road of Arif Rahman Hakim was 0,55 while the value on the road of Manggis was 0,46. Then, the calculation for both road performance obtained value of the degree of saturation (DJ) < 0,85. The value showed that both roads were highly feasible to serve traffic flow during rush hour.
