Arminto Djau, 2020. Topographic Analysis of Drainage Channels on Street Jenderal Sudirman, Gorontalo City. Thesis, Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University. Supervisor 1 Yuliyanti Kadir, S.T., M, T. and 2nd Advisor Aryati Alitu, S.T., M.T.
Street Jenderal Sudirman is one of the collector roads in Gorontalo City, the problems that often occur at the location are inundation and frequent flooding. Research objectives are to: 1) evaluate the existing condition of the drainage network on Street Jendral Sudirman .; 2) obtaining flow direction data in the drainage channel on Street Jenderal Sudirman; 3) obtaining the existing puddle area on Street Jenderal Sudirman.
The research method is to obtain primary data collected in the form of measurement results of channel dimensions and existing conditions at the research location, data on the width of the inundation roads, the results of flow direction analysis, and secondary data obtained by topographic measurement results.
The results showed that; 1) The topography of Street Jenderal Sudirman shows that the elevation at station 0 + 160 reaches 9.35 cm, while the elevation at station 1 + 320 reaches 10.59 cm and the elevation at station 0 + 340 reaches 9.31 cm. From the results of topographic measurements, it shows that the lowest elevation is between stations 0 + 180 and 0 + 340, namely 9.33 - 9.31 cm. With a station length of 1320 m. 2) The channel flow of Street Jenderal Sudirman is two primary channels, namely the Delombongo channel and the Tanggikiki channel, where the Delombonggo channel flows through the Street Prof. HB Jasin channel and is divided by the Street Jendral Sudirman channel, the Tanggikiki primary channel flows with the Street Jenderal Sudirman channel and is divided by channels Street Agung Suprapto, Street Dewi Sartika, Street Samratulangi, Street Nani wartabone, and Street Cokroaminoto. 3) The condition of the standing water at the research location, especially on the road in front of the Mufida Shop, is very high, this is due to the high intensity of rainfall and the existing drainage channels are not able to accommodate standing water, causing water to overflow into the road body.
