Evaluasi Field Strength Sistem Stasiun Transmisi TV One Dan Sindo TV Gorontalo Untuk Penentuan Spesifikasi Wilayah Service Area

Kualitas dan kontinuitas hubungan komunikasi melalui media transmisi udara memegang peranan yang sangat penting terutama pada bidang pertelevisian sehingga sangat penting mengetahui bagaimana kualitas pemancar dari suatu stasiun transmisi.
Pada penelitian ini dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui bagaimana spesifikasi wilayah service area untuk wilayah Provinsi Gorontalo dengan membandingkan nilai field strength dari hasil pengukuran dengan nilai hasil perhitungan.
Dalam penelitian ini, perhitungan menggunakan model Okumura-Hata untuk menentukan nilai pathloss meliputi daerah spesifikasi urban, sub-urban dan rural, sehingga dari nilai pathloss bisa ditentukan kuat medan (field strength) untuk suatu wilayah.
Hasil yang diperoleh pada stasiun transmisi TV One untuk lokasi Lamahu, Leato, Batudaa, Pohe, Tilongkabila spesifikasi sub-urban, dan Duano, yosonegoro, Suwawa spesifikasi rural. Hasil yang diperoleh pada stasiun Sindo TV untuk lokasi Bulango, Yosonegoro, Limboto, Pohe, Moutong, Toto spesifikasi sub-urban dan Kabila, Bongomeme spesifikasi rural.
Perbedaan nilai kuat medan (field strength) hasil pengukuran dan perhitungan disebabkan oleh kondisi geografis di lokasi tiap-tiap pengukuran yang dapat berupa daerah terbuka, dan daerah lintasan gelombang yang dapat berupa bangunan / gedung-gedung tinggi, perbukitan, dan daerah pepohonan.

Abstract - Quality and continuity of the communication through air transmitting media play the important role in the TV broadcasting field. It is also important to know how the quality of the transmitter of the stasion is.
The evaluation was conducted in order to know the specification of the service area in Gorontalo Province. It compared the field strength value from the measurement result with the calculation value.
In this research, the calculation used Okumura-Hata model, it is used to determine the pathloss value convering the specification of urban, sub-urban, and rural areas. So, the pathloss value can help to determine the field strength of one area.
The result obtained from the transmitting station of TV One, for the location of Lamahu, Leato, Batudaa, Pohe, and Tilongkabila was specified as the sub-urban area. The location of Duano, Yosonegoro, and Suwawa was specified as the rural area. From the transmitting station of sindo TV, the location of Bulango, Yosonegoro, Limboto, Pohe, Moutong, and Toto was specified as the sub-urban area, and location of Kabila and Bongomeme was specified as the rural area.
The difference of field strength value from the measurement and calculation value was caused by the geographical condition of each measurement area, it is like open area amd wave track area that can be buildings, hills, and woodlands.
