Abstrak

RIDWAN PANTU. The Application of Profile Matching to university admission at Polytechnic of Gorontalo Admission. (Principal supervisor: Agus Lahinta, ST., M.Kom; Co-Supervisor: Dian Novian, S.Kom., MT.) Decision making support system for student admission is an application program it is used by Department of Admission at Polytechnics of Gorontalo, aimed to determine prospective students that will be accepted in each study program objectively. Assessments of candidates were modeled based on data and criteria. Then they are processed through Profile Matching. Its use, further, it is expected to assist staff through the student admission process, in addition the department will get high prospective students in terms of the criteria and the quota from each department. The result showed rank list of the selected candidates, and shared output than can help decission makers to select candidates.
