Abstrak
Wisti Widyawati Bapa. Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rantai Pasok Jagung Berbasisi SMS Gateway (Studi Kasus: UD.Manna Utara) (dibimbing oleh Lillyan Hadjaratie, S. Kom, M. Si dan Roviana Dai, S.Kom, MT)
Proses manajemen rantai pasok yang ada di UD. Manna Utara masih kurang stabil dikarenakan kurangnya meratanya informasi yang didapatkan oleh setiap pelaku rantai pasok jagung yang berdampak pada distribusi dan penjualan jagung. Dimana pada saat pembeli membeli jagung yang ada di gudang sering terjadi kekurangan stok jagung. Sehingga pihak UD. Manna Utara harus menghubungi satu persatu petani atau pengumpul untuk mengonformasi jagung yang ada pada mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan senuah sistem informasi maanajemen rantai pasok jagung berbasis sms gateway untuk mendukung kegiatan distribusi jagung lebih optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode prototype. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen rantai pasok jagung berbasis sms gateway dapat membantu dalam proses kegiatan distribusi jagung. Sistem informasi manajemen rantai pasok berbasis sms gateway mempermudah pelaku rantai pasok untuk menjalin kerjasama yang baik, baik melalui komunikasi secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung.

ABSTRACT

Management process of the supply chain that exist in UD. Manna Utara is less stable due to lack of information to be gained by each corn supply chain doer, and it affects the corn distribution and sale. Consequently, the buyers often find the storage in shortages of stock. Thus, UD. Manna Utara has to contact each farmer or collector to confirm the existing corn on their place. The research is aimed to produce information system of corn supply chain management based on SMS Gateway to support the distribution activities which will lead to be more optimal. Prototype method was used as the research method. The finding shows that the management information system of corn supply chain based on SMS Gateway can assist the activity process of distribution in corn. The information system of corn supply chain management based on SMS Gateway is to simplify supply chain doers to establish a better cooperation through whether direct or indirect communication.
