Abstrak
Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin) merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi secara sistematis penguasaan keahlian siswa. Instansi yang berada di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo merupakan lokasi yang sering dijadikan sebagai obyek pelaksanaan Prakerin. Bagian Umum UNG selaku pengelola, sering mengalami kendala meliputi pendaftaran, pembagian instansi, pengisian jurnal, verifikasi, monitoring kegiatan, pengimputan nilai, serta tidak adanya umpan balik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengoptimalisasikan proses administrasi prakerin di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo dengan menerapkan prinsip rekayasa proses bisnis dan menggunakan pengembangan sistem. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Prototype. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rekayasa proses bisnis prakerin dengan menggunakan teknologi web dapat mengoptimalkan pengelolaan prakerin seperti pendaftaran, pembagian instansi, pengisian jurnal, verifikasi, monitoring kegiatan, pengimputan nilai, serta umpan balik.
The field industrial practice (Prakerin) is a form of systematic implementation for students' skill mastery. The institutions in the State University of Gorontalo are chosen as the Prakerin objects. The Public affair of UNG as the supervisor, often find obstacles such as in the process of registration, the institution distribution, journal filling, verification, activities monitoring, scores input, and the lack of feedback. This research aims at optimizing the Prakerin administration process in the State University of Gorontalo through implementing business process engineering principal and applying the system development The research method is prototype method. Findings show that Prakerin business process engineering through web technology is able to optimize the Prakerin management such as in the process of registration, the institution distribution, journal filling, verification, activities monitoring, scores input and feedback.
