Abstrak
INTISARI
Ombudsman RI Provinsi Gorontalo sebagai lembaga pemerintah yang bertugas melakukan pengawasan penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik menggunakan media pemberitaan seperti koran sebagai sumber laporan investigasi dan dibuatkan dalam bentuk kliping untuk digunakan. Namun proses pengelolaan dan penggunaan arsip kliping berita mengalami beberapa permasalahan antara lain: 1). lambatnya pencarian kliping berita, lemari arsip penuh dengan tumpukan arsip, kliping berita rusak saat pemakaian dan penyimpanan, kesulitan penataan arsip sesuai indeks pengaturan arsip kliping berita serta kesulitan menghitung informasi statistik kliping berita. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengatasi beberapa permasalahan tersebut dengan membuatkan sebuah sistem informasi pengarsipan kliping berita yang menyimpan, mengelola, dan menghasilkan informasi dalam bentuk digital. Model pengarsipan yang dibuat berupa sistem informasi berbasis web yang dirancang menggunakan bahasa PHP dan database MySQL serta didukung dengan fitur-fitur Javascript seperti JQuery dan AJAX. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini digunakan metode prototyping dalam pengembangan sistem. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi pengarsipan kliping berita berbasis web yang bisa menyimpan data kliping berita dalam bentuk digital, mengatur berdasarkan indeks pengaturan penataan, menampilkan data kliping berita saat diperlukan melalui fitur pencarian dan berbagai jenis filter berdasarkan filter yang digunakan.

ABSTRACT

Ombudsman Republic of Indonesia Province of Gorontalo as government agencies that in charge of supervising the implementation of public services uses news media like newspaper as source of investigation report and was created in clipping form for use. However, the process of managing and using news clipping archives encountered several problems among others: the slow of news clippings search, filing cabinet full of piles of archives, news clipping broken during usage and strorage, difficulty of archival arrangement according to archive index of news clippings as well as difficulty of calculating the statistical information of news clipping. Further, the aim of this research finding is to overcome some problems by creating an information system of archiving news clippings that stores, processes and produces information in digital form. The archiving model was made in the form of system information based web which is designed by using PHP language and database MySQL and supported by Javascript features such as JQuery and AJAX. In conducting this research prototyping method was used to develop the system. Further, this research finding is an information system of archiving news clippings web based that can save news clippings in digital form, setting up according to the setup setting index, displaying the news clipping data needed through searching feature and various types of filters based on the used filter.
