Kota Gorontalo memiliki beragam usaha industri pangan yang dapat menghasilkan olahan produk pangan pada makanan seperti snack, ikan, dan kue, yang diproduksi oleh masyarakat Kota Gorontalo. akan tetapi banyaknya usaha industri pangan yang belum terpublikasikan dengan baik, menyebabkan masyarakat sulit untuk menemukan lokasi usaha, karena informasi yang didaptkan belum jelas, hanya berupa alamat dan nama usaha, serta pimilik usaha masih sulit untuk mendaftarkan usaha di Kantor Dinas Perindustrian Dan Perdagangan Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membuat sistem informasi geografis produk usaha industri pangan yang dapat memudahkan instansi maupun masyarakat dalam menemukan lokasi dan infomasi tentang produk usaha industri pangan di Kota Gorontalo. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode prototype. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dapat mempermudah masyarakat maupun instansi dalam menemukan lokasi usaha dan informasi produk usaha industi pangan, yang saling berintegrasi dengan dua sistem yang berbeda yaitu sistem informasi perijinan IRTP sistem ini memberikan daftar IRTP, Data Ijin pangan dan sistem informasi TDI juga memberikan data ijin perusahaan. SIG ini dapat melakukan pencarian lokasi usaha industri pangan dari posisi user saat ini, menyediakan informasi tetang produk usaha industri pangan yang ada di Kota Gorontalo, dan SIG ini akan menampilkan informasi perusahan yang sudah memiliki ijin dan belum memiliki ijin, serta memberikan informasi pada ijin produk yang nantinya akan dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat itu sendri, selain itu sistem ini juga dapat menampilkan harga jual pada produk tersebut.

Gorontalo City has various food industry businesses which can produce varied processed products such as snack, fish, and cake. However, they are not well publishet which causes people to be difficult to find the business location due to unclear information. The information remains just providing address and name of the business as well as the business owner are still difficult to register the business in Office of Department of Industry and Trade of Gorontalo City. The research use a prototype method as its system development. The finding was a Geographic Information System that can facilitate either institution or people in finding location and information about the product that is integrated with two different systems namely information system of Household Food Industry permit in which the system provides a list of Household Food Industry and Distribution permit data and I nformation system of TDI which provides business license data. The Geographic Information System can help to find out the location of business from current users' position, providing information of the Household Food Industry in Gorontalo City as well as presenting information on which company that has and does not have the license and distribution permit for people's consumption. Also the system can present the sales price of the product.
