Abstrak

The management of curriculum at Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo remained to experience a problem so that the management was not optimum yet. The problem that occurred was the management of curriculum still relied on spreadsheet based-apps in which it was not maximum to accommodate users needs to monitor change at every stage. The research objective was to optimize process of preparation and development of curriculum through development of a management information system of curriculum that was supported by web service technology. The system development method used a prototype method. The result of research indicated that the management information system of curriculum could optimize the creation of curriculum. The presence of the system could faciliate the related party in creating curriculum that was in accordance with the procedure, and the system could retrieve data by applying web service. In addition, the system was used to ease management of curriculum in Faculty of Engineering environment, State University of Gorontalo.
