Abstrak
Abstract
Business processes in the management of student organization at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo did not run optimally, especially in terms of forming student organizations, issuing managerial decrees, inaugurating student organizations, submitting activity proposals, implementing activities, preparing accountability reports (LPJ), evaluating activities, and reorganizing. This resulted in the not optimal management of student organizations. Thus, the objective of this research is to find out to what extent business process analysis and engineering can optimize the business process flow of management of student organizations. The research employs business process improvement methods, including process documentation, performance measurement, self-assessment, performance evaluation, and improvement plan. Furthermore, the business process engineeringin this research uses one of theESIA (Eliminate, Simplify, Integrate, Automate) techniques, namely the automate (automation) process, to determine which activities can be automated with the help of technology. The results of the analysis depict that there are business process that have not been optimal, so with the automation method, the business process for the management of student organizations become more optimal, yet the implementation needs to be improved and evaluated.

Abstrak
Proses bisnis pada pengelolaan ormawa Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, tidak berjalan secara optimal, terutama dalam hal pembentukan ormawa, penerbitan SK pengurus, pelantikan ormawa, pengajuan proposal kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, laporan pertanggungjawaban (LPJ), evaluasi kegiatan, serta reorganisasi. Hal ini mengakibatkan tidak optimalnya proses pengelolaan ormawa. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana analisis dan rekayasa proses bisnis dapat mengoptimalkan alur proses bisnis pengelolaan ormawa. Penelitian menggunakan metode peningkatan proses bisnisantaralain,process documentation, performance measurement, self assement and performance evaluation, improvement planning. Rekayasa proses bisnis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan salah satu dari teknik ESIA yakni proses automate (automatisasi) untuk menentukan aktivitas yang dapat diotomatisasikan dengan bantuan teknologi.Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat proses bisnis yang belum optimal, maka dengan adanya metode automatisasi,proses bisnis pengelolaan ormawa menjadi optimal, karena adanya aktifitas proses bisnis yang dilakukan melalui sistem informasi.
