Abstrak

Decision Support Systems (DSS) are widely used in many industries The studies on DSS are mainly about determining locations of tourist attractions, evaluating the best websites of hotels and cafes, etc. There has never been research that specifically discusses the application of DSS method in determining student recommendations with various preferences that can be set through the criteria assessment of students' raw data comprising students' scores, number of programs participated in, and achievements. This research applies the Analytical Hierarchy Process and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (AHP-TOPSIS) method The objective is to design a DSS for student recommendation using the AHP-TOPSIS method. The output is a DSS for student recommendation. The system enables the heads of department and. study program to track down student recommendation in certain needs.
