Kurang efektifnya proses penyampaian informasi kepada masyarakat akan menjadikan jurusan teknik industri lambat untuk dikenal, untuk mengoptimalkan penyampaian informasi ini harus adanya sebuah media web untuk menjadi pusat informasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui kuisioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Perancangan website ini dimulai dengan studi literature, pembuatan kuisioner, pengumpulan data, perancangan basisdata dan layout website, evaluasi hasil perancangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan ergonomi dan usabilitas. Dari hasil rancangan website yang dilakukan telah terciptanya web resmi jurusan teknik industri yang sederhana dan lengkap, web teknik industri telah sesuai dengan kaidah mudah dipelajari dan mudah diingat serta kontras warna web teknik industri telah disesuaikan dengan pendekatan ergonomi.

Less effective process of delivering information to the public will make the industrial engineering department is slow to be recognized, to optimize the delivery of this information should the web to be a media information center. The research was conducted through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The design of this website begins with the study of literature, questionnaire creation, data collection, database design and layout of the website, design evaluation using ergonomics approach and reusability. From the results of the design was the creation of a website that carried official web engineering industry a simple and comprehensive, web engineering industry in accordance with the rules are easy to learn and easy to remember as well as color contrast web engineering industry has adapted to the ergonomic approach
