Abstrak

ABSTRACT Eko Budiyanto Y. Umar. 6134 10 030: Study on Growth and Production of Rice Paddy (Oriza Sativa L) Based on Rice Straw Composting on Jajar Legowo 4: 1. The guidance of Mohamad Ikbal Bahua as mentor I and Nikmah Musa as mentor II. This study aims to determine the growth and production of rice crops based on rice straw compost on legowo 4: 1 jaw system. This research was conducted from January until May 2016 in Diloniyohu village, Boliyohuto Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, using a randomized block design with five levels of repeated doses of rice straw compost fertilizer, so there are 15 experimental units with treatment arrangement K0 = Control, K1 = 2 ton / ha, K2 = 4 ton / ha, K3 = 6 ton / ha, K4 = 8 ton / ha. The results showed that the treatment of rice straw compost fertilizer had significant effect on the growth and production of rice crops including plant height 4 and 6 mst, number of tillers on observation, and number of productive tillers, panicle length, weight of 1000 seeds of dried grain and weight of farm.
