Zein Sahrain. 613 411 013: Response Plant Red Chili (Capsicum annuum L.) Based on Rice Straw Mulch Application, Eggshell Egg Silver And Black plastic mulch. Nikmah guidance of Moses as a Supervisor I and Henry Pembengo as Advisor II.
The use of mulch in red red chili cultivation as surface cover beds / ridges are very necessary because it provides advantages, such as reducing the rate of evaporation from the surface of the land so as to conserve water, reduce soil temperature fluctuations, as well as reduce energy and cost to control this research gulma.Tujuan is to determine the effect and the best type of mulch on the growth and yield of red chili. The experiment was conducted in February to the month of April 2016, in the village of Dutohe, District Kabila, Bone Bolango District, Gorontalo province. The method used was a randomized block design (RAK) with four treatments ie without mulch mulch, rice straw, egg shells and black plastic silverware. The results showed that treatment of types of mulch affect plant growth and production of red chilli in terms of height, leaf number, fruit number and weight of the fruit crop. Silver black plastic mulch is the best type of mulch and efficient in increasing the growth and production of red chilli
