Abstrak
ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jarak tanam dan waktu aplikasi pemupukan phonska terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman nilam. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan oktober 2016 di desa Talango, Kecamatan Kabila, Kabupaten Bone Bolango, Provinsi Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan faktorial dalam RAK dengan faktor pertama adalah jarak tanam terdisi atas 2 taraf yaitu 50 x 50 cm dan 100 x 50 cm. Faktor kedua waktu aplikasi pemupukan phonska terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 1 kali aplikasi (1 MST), 2 kali aplikasi (2 MST dan 4 MST) dan 3 kali aplikasi (2, 4 dan 6 MST). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan jarak tanaman berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman nilam yaitu tinggi tanaman 10 MST, jumlah daun 10 MST, dan berat kering pertanaman. Perlakuan waktu aplikasi pemupukan phonska berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman nilam yaitu tinggi tanaman 8 MST dan 10 MST, jumlah daun 8 MST dan 10 MST, dan berat kering pertanaman. Terdapat interaksi antar jarak tanaman dan waku aplikasi pemupukan phonska terhadap berat basah. Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik yaitu kombinasi perlakuan jarak tanam 100 x 50 cm dan waktu aplikasi pemupukan phonska 2 dan 4 MST.

Amalia Katili, Student ID. 613 412 104. The Influence of Planting Space and Phonska fertilizer Application Time toward the Growth and Production of Patchouli Plant (Pogostemon cablin Benth). Principal supervisor was Wawan Pembengo and Co-supervisor was Suyono Dude.
The obyektive of this study was to find out influence of planting space and the application time of phonska fertilizer toward the growth and the production of patchouli plant. This study was conducted from may to October 2016 in talango village of Kabila Sub- district of Bone Bolango, Gorontalo Province. This study used two-factor randomized group design. The first factor was planting space that comprised of 2 types, the 50 x 50 cm and the 100 x 50 cm. the second factor was the application time of phonska fertilizer that comprised of tree treatments, 1 time application (1 week after planting), two times application (2 WAP and 4 WAP) and 3 times application (2 WAP, 4 WAP, and 6 WAP). This study revealed that the planting space treatment influenced the growth and the production of patchouli plant in the height of the plant at 10 weeks after planting, and number of leaves at 10 weeks after planting, and the dry weight of the plant. The application time of phonska fertilizer the growth and the height of patchouli plant at 8 WAP and at 10 WAP, and influced the number of leaves at 8 WAP and 10 WAP, and the dry weight of the plant. There was an interaction of the planting space and the applications time of phonska fertilizer on the wet weight of the patchouli plant. The best combination of treatment was the 100 x 50 cm planting space and the application time of phonska fertilizer at 2 weeks and 4 weeks after planting.
