THE INFLUENCE OF THE QUALITY OF RICE TOWARDS
ITS MARKET PRICE AT TRADITIONAL MARKETS
IN BONE BOLANGO

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to understand the influence of the quality of rice towards its market price at traditional markets in BoneBolango. This research had been conducted since May to July in 2014. The research method uses survey technique which the empirical data collecting is based on the interview and observation. The source of data is divided into primary and secondary data. The selection of the sampling uses saturation sampling with involving all the rice sellers attraditional markets in Bone Bolango. The samples of the traditional market are at Sunday Market in Duano, district of Suwawa Tengah; at Thursday Market in Talumopatu,district of Tapa; at Friday Market in Tumbihe, district of Kabila; atWednesday Market in Buludawa, district of Suwawa Induk; and at Sunday Market in Bilungala, district of Bone Pantai. The data analysis applies Simple Regression Analysis by SPSS 16. The result shows that the F test with sig.= 0.000 and the number of Determination Coefficient (r2) = 0.744. This means that the quality of the riceat the traditional markets in Bone Bolango, obviously influences its market price with the amount of the contribution reaching 74.4%.

ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh kualitas beras terhadap harga Beras di pasar tradisionl Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Mei sampai Bulan Juli Tahun 2014. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei yang merupakan pengumpulan data empiris berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi. Dimana terbagi atas data primer dan data sekunder. Pemilihan sampel digunakan sampling jenuh dengan penentuan sampel semua pedagang beras yang ada di Pasar Minggu di Desa Duano Kecamatan Suwawa Tengah, Pasar Kamis Desa Talumopatu Kecamatan Tapa, Pasar Jum'at Desa Tumbihe Kecamatan Kabila, Pasar Rabu Desa Buludawa Kecamatan Suwawa Induk, dan Pasar Minggu Desa Bilungala Kecamatan Bone Pantai Kabupaten Bone Bolango dijadikan sebagai sampel. Alat analisa data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Uji F dengan nilai sig. = 0,000 dan nilai koefisien determinasi (r) = 0,744, yang artinya kualitas beras berpengaruh sangat nyata dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 74,4 % terhadap harga beras di Pasar Tradisional Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
