Tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efisiensi reproduksi yang meliputi (Service Per Conception, Conception Rate, Calving Rate) sapi potong hasil Inseminasi Buatan (IB) di Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
Penelitian dilaksanakan di dua Kecamatan di Kabupaten Bone Bolango (Tilongkabila dan Kabila) terhadap sapi potong hasil IB pada bulan April sampai bulan Mei 2015. Materi penelitian yang akan dijadikan sampel untuk pengamatan hasil IB adalah recording hasil IB yang berasal dari Kecamatan Tilongkabila 163 ekor dan Kecamatan Kabila 119 ekor. Jumlah keseluruhan responden adalah 249 orang dan diambil 60 peternak masing-masing Kecamatan Tilongkabila 30 responden dan Kecamatan Kabila 30 responden. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh secara langsung dari Inseminator dan akseptor IB melalui hasil wawancara dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan koesioner meliputi efisiensi reproduksi sapi potong hasil Inseminasi Buatan (IB), karakteristik responden dan penguasaan aspek bioreproduksi. Data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai instansi terkait seperti Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan Kabupaten Bone Bolango dan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS).
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi reproduksi sapi potong hasil IB di Kabupaten Bone Bolango selama periode 2013 sampai 2014 cukup baik dengan diperoleh nilai rata-rata S/C sebesar (1,37%) yang diperoleh dari Kecamatan Tilongkabila (1,47%) dan Kecamatan Kabila (1,27%), nilai Conception Rate (CR) ternak sapi yang dicapai di Kabupaten Bone Bolango rata-rata sebesar (74,99%) yang diperoleh dari Kecamatan Tilongkabila (69,32%) dan Kabila (80,67%), dan nilai rata-rata Calving Rate temak sapi potong yang dicapai di Kabupaten Bone Bolango sebesar (80,47%) yang diperoleh dari Kecamatan Tilongkabila (76,07%) dan Kabila (84,87%).

The purpose of the research to determine the efficiency of reproduction which includes (Service Per Conception , Conception Rate, Calving Rate) beef cattle results Artificial Insemination (AI ) in Bone regency Bolango .
The research was conducted in two District in Bone Bolango (Tilongkabila and Kabila) to beef cattle IB results from April to May 2015. The research material to be sampled for observation results IB IB is recording the results derived from the District 163 Tilongkabila tail and District Kabila 119 tails. The total number of respondents is 249 people and taken 60 farmers each sub-district and District Tilongkabila 30 respondents 30 respondents Kabila. Data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained directly from Inseminator and acceptor IB through interviews using questionnaires questioner include beef cattle reproductive efficiency results Artificial Insemination (AI), the characteristics of the respondent and mastery bioreproduksi aspects. Secondary data were obtained from various agencies such as the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Bone Bolango District and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).
Based on the results of observational studies indicate that reproductive efficiency in beef cattle IB results Bone Bolango District during the period 2013 to 2014 is good with average values obtained S/C by (1.37%) obtained from the District Tilongkabila (1.47%) and District Kabila (1.27%) , the value of Conception Rate (CR) cattle were achieved in Bone regency Bolango average of (74.99%) obtained from the District Tilongkabila (69.32%) and Kabila (80,67%), and the average value of beef cattle calving rate achieved in Bone regency Bolango by (80.47%) obtained from the District Tilongkabila (76.07%) and Kabila (84.87%).
