Fransiska U. Rais. 2017. Pengaruh Pemberian Ampas Sagu (Metroxylon Sago)Fermentasi Dalam Ransum Terhadap Produksi Telur Burung Puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japanica) dibawah bimbingan Syukri I Gubali Sebagai Pembimbing 1 dan Sri Suryaningsih Djunu sebagai Pembimbing II.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penggunaan ampas sagu (Metroxylon sago) fermentasi dalam ransum terhadap produksi telur burung puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japanica). Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan dikandang percobaan ternak burung puyuh di Kelurahan Dembe Jaya Kecamatan Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo dari bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 5 minggu dengan menggunakan 100 ekor burung puyuh fase layer dan diberi perlakuan (pemberian ampas sagu fermentasi dengan taraf 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, dan 8%).Kandang yang digunakan adalah kandang sistem bateray berjumlah 20 petak,setiap petak berukuran 40 x 30 x 20 cm dan setiap petak berisi 5 ekor burung puyuh. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan pakan dan 4 ulangan. Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi ransum,produksi telur,bobot telur,konversi ransum,dan efisiensi ransum.Produksi telur tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan P1 dengan rataan jumlah produksi telur 57,29%. Bobot telur tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan P0 dengan rataan 9,31 gram/ekor/hari. Konsumsi ransum tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P1 yaitu 8,39 gram/ekor/hari. Konversiransumterkeciladapadaperlakuan 1 yaitu 1,74 yang mengindikasibahwaefisiensiransumterbaikadapadaperlakuan 1 yaitu 5,51. Level pemberian ampas sagu dalam ransum memberi pengaruh tidak nyata (p>0,05) terhadap produksi telur burung puyuh, perlakuan dengan pemberian ampas sagu dalam ransum menyebabkan penurunan bobot telur, level pemberian ampas sagu terhadap konsumsi ransum burung puyuh tidak memberi pengaruh (p>0,05).

This research aims to know the level of use of the dregs of sago (Metroxylon sago) fermentation in rations against the egg production of quail (Coturnix coturnix japanica).This research has been carried out in the cage quail livestock experiment in kelurahan Dembe jaya subdistrict of North Gorontalo city from February to April 2016. This research was conducted for 5 weeks with using 100 quail tail phase layer and given treatment (grant of sago pulp fermentation with TTL 0%,2%,4%,6%,8%). The cage is a cage system bateray amounted to 20 compartments,eachsized compartments 40x 30x 20 cm and each of the compartments contain 5 quail tail. The method used is the method of random complete with 5 treatment of feed and 4 replicates. The observed variable is consumtion of rations, egg production, egg weight, conversion ration, ration and efficiency. Egg production is obtained at the highest treatment P1 with rataan 57.29% number of egg production. Highest egg weights obtained on treatment of PO with 9.31 g/head/day. The highest ration consumtion found in treatment P1 i.e. 8.39 g/head/day. Conversion ration to the smallest there is 1 at the treatment i.e. the records indecate that the efficiency 1.74 ration is the best there is in treatment 1 i.e. 5.5. The level of the grant of the dregs of sago in the ration influence not real (p0.05>) againts the production of egg quail, treatment by administering the dregs of sago in ration caused a decrease in the weight of the eggs, the level of the grant of the lees sago againts consumtion of ration quail did not affect (p>0.05).
