Analisis Preferensi Konsumen Terhadap Konsumsi Daging Ayam Broiler di Kecamatan Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui preferensi konsumen terhadap konsumsi daging ayam broiler dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preferensi konsumen di Kecamatan Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama dua bulan yaitu Oktober sampai November 2015 di Kecamatan Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari: Pengamatan (observasi), Wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan Chi Square. Hasil analisis Chi Square menunjukan bahwa preferensi konsumen di Kecamatan Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo tidak sama artinya mempunyai perbedaaan terhadap preferensi daging ayam broiler. Atribut yang menjadi preferensi utama responden di Kecamatan Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo yaitu adalah daging ayam broiler yang berwarna merah cerah, bobot daging ayam broiler yang besar, mempunyai kandungan lemak yang sedikit dan juga mempunyai kekenyalan daging yang elastis. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preferensi konsumen pertama yaitu, faktor budaya sebanyak 99% suku Gorontalo, faktor tempat sebanyak 93% membeli daging ayam broiler di pasar, rasa daging yang gurih sebanyak 65%, faktor jumlah anggota keluarga sebanyak 59% beranggota keluarga 4-6 orang, faktor ketersediaan makanan sebanyak 52% mencari di tempat lain, dengan alasan tidak tersedianya daging ayam broiler di suatu tempat dan faktor harga sebanyak 52% menurut responden harga daging ayam broiler murah.

This research aims to know the preferences of consumers against consumption of chicken broiler and the factors that influence consumer preference in district Towns South of the city of Gorontalo. This research was conducted for two months i.e., October to November 2015, in district of the southern city of Gorontalo. The method used is the method the survey. The method of data collection is done in this research is to use the method of data collection that consists of: Observations (observation), interview and documentation. The analysis used in this research is descriptive and Chi Square analysis. Chi Square analysis results showed that the preferences of consumers in the southern city of Gorontalo City is not the same meaning that it has a distinction against the preference of broiler chicken meat. Attributes become the main preferences of respondents in southern city of Gorontalo City i.e. is chicken meat bright red broiler, broiler chicken meat weights are great, have a slightly fat content and also has a flesh tone elastic. The factors that influence consumer preference first, cultural factors as much as 99% of the tribe of Gorontalo, place as many as 93% buy broiler chicken meat on the market, a savory meat flavors by as much as 65%, the number of family members as much as 59%-membered family of 4-6 people, food availability factor of as much as 52% look elsewhere, citing the unavailability of broiler chicken somewhere and factor prices as much as 52% according to respondents the price of broiler chicken meat is cheap.
