Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung wortel (Daucus carota L.) terhadap peningkatan warna ikan komet (Carrasius auratus). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga kali pengulangan, dosis perlakuan 0%, 1%, 3%, dan 5% selama 30 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai peningkatan warna ikan komet (Carrasius auratus) berbeda-beda pada setiap perlakuan, perlakuan A(kontrol) yaitu 1,67, perlakuan B (1% tepung wortel) yaitu 2,40, perlakuan C (3% tepung wortel) yaitu 2,73, dan perlakuan D (5% tepung wortel) yaitu 4,13. Analisis data menggunakan analisis of varience (ANOVA). Hasil menunjukan bahwa penambahan tepung wortel (Daucus carota L.) dengan dosis yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap peningkatan warna pada ikan komet. Pemberian tepung wortel dengan dosis 5% menghasilkan warna yang lebih cerah dibanding dengan dosis lainnya. Parameter kualitas air selama penelitian masih dalam kondisi optimal.

This study aims to determine the effect of adding carrot flour (Daucus carota L.) to the color enhancement of comet fish (Carrasius auratus). The research design used was the experimental method Complete Random Design (CRD) with three repetitions, the treatment dose was 0%, 1%, 3%, and 5% for 30 days. The results showed that the color enhancement value of comet fish (Carrasius auratus) varied in each treatment. Treatment A (control) is 1,67, treatment B (1% carrot flour) is 2,40, treatment C (3% carrot flour) is 2,73, and treatment D (5% carrot flour) is 4,13. Data analysis employed analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the addition of carrot flour (Daucus carota L.) with different doses had a significant effect on color enhancement in comet fish. Giving carrot flour at a dose of 5% produces a brighter color compared to other doses. Water quality parameters during the study are still in optimal condition.
