Suryaningrat Ana. 2018. Hubungan Tingkat Pemberian Pakan Buatan Bersumber Protein Limbah Ampas Tahu dan Kepala Udang terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Benih Ikan Patin (Pangasius hypophthalmus). Jurusan Budidaya Perairan. Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

ABSTRACT
Ana, Suryaningrat. 2018. The Interrelation of the Provision of Protein-based Artificial Feed Made of Tofu and Shrimp Head Waste and the Growth of Catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) Seed. Undergraduate Thesis. Department of Aquaculture. Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science. State University of Gorontalo. Principal Supervisor: Yuniarti Koniyo. Co-supervisor: Juliana.
This research is aimed at exploring the interrelation of the provision of protein-based artificial feed made of tofu and shrimp head waste and the growth of catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) seed. This experimental research employed a completely randomized design. The treatment consists of three times provision of feeding, i.e., feed A (3%) commercial feed PF--1000 as the control treatment, B (5%), C (10%) and D (15%) of the biomass weight of the fish. Furthermore, the monitored parameter involves the absolute growth, daily growth, the correlation between the length-weigh and the survival rate. The supporting parameter revolves around the aspect of water quality, i.e., temperature, pH, and the content of dissolved oxygen. The data analysis focuses on the growth as well as the correlation between the length-weigh and the survival rate using the analytical descriptive and linear regression method. The results reveal a positive, linear correlation towards the length-weigh with the tallest length, 1.35cm, in the treatment D (15%). In addition, the treatment A results in a negative, linear correlation with the percentage 3% weighing at 1.30 gram. The highest survival rate is in treatment B (5%) with the percentage 8.67%, and the lowest survival rate is in treatment A (3%) and D (15%) with the percentage 73.33%. The correlation between light-weight and the catfish results in a positive, low-linear correlation and the pattern of the growth of fish is negative-allometric (the growth of the height is faster than the weigh).
Keywords: Catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus), feed, growth, correlation between length-weigh, survival rate.
