Masyarakat Indonesia terbiasa menggunakan obat anti nyamuk berbahan kimia sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengusir dan mencegah berkembangnya nyamuk termasuk nyamuk penular malaria yaitu anopheles sp. Adanya kandungan alkaloid, saponin dan flavonoid dalam tanaman keji beling dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai insektisida alami yang dapat membunuh nyamuk.
Rumusan masalah adalah apakah perasan Daun Keji Beling (Stobilanthes crispa) efektif terhadap kematian nyamuk anopheles sp?. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas perasan daun keji beling (Stobilanthes crispa) terhadap kematian nyamuk anopheles sp.
Jenis Penelitian adalah eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). pemberian perasan daun keji beling dengan konsentrasi perasan yaitu 0%, 15%, 30% dan 55%, pengulangan 3 kali dan waktu pengamatan 24 jam. Jumlah sampel 300 ekor nyamuk. Uji analisis varians satu arah (One Way analysis of varience-ANOVA) dan uji LSD.
Hasil Penelitian pada tingkat konsentrasi 15%, rata-rata kematian nyamuk anopheles sp 44,0%. Konsentrasi 30%, rata-rata tingkat kematian nyamuk 68,0%. Konsentrasi 45%, rata-rata tingkat kematian nyamuk 80,0%. Perasan daun kaji beling efektif terhadap kematian nyamuk anopheles sp (� value 0,000). Ada perbedaan efektivitas pada setiap tingkat konsentrasi perasan daun keji beling yang bernilai positif dimana semakin tinggi tingkat konsentrasi, maka tingkat kematian nyamuk akan semakin tinggi pula.
Saran bagi masyarakat agar dapat memanfaatkan tumbuhan alam yang bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan alami untuk membunuh nyamuk. Air perasan daun keji beling dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu bahan insektisida alami untuk membunuh nyamuk

Indonesian people are used to applying chemical mosquito repellent as one of the methods to repel and prevent the development of mosquito, including malaria-transmitting one, anopheles sp. The existence of alkaloid, saponin, and flavonoid contents in Stobilanthes crispa Blume plant can be used as a natural insecticide which may kill the mosquito.
Problem statement of this research was, is the extract of Stobilanthes crispa Blume leaves effective for mortality of anopheles sp. mosquito? The research objective was to find out the effectiveness of extract of Stobilanthes crispa Blume leaves effective for the mortality of anopheles sp. mosquito.
It was experimental research with completely randomized design (CRD) and by adding extract of Stobilanthes crispa Blume leaves with concentrations of 0%, 15%, 30%, and 45%, 3 replications, and 24-observation duration. The samples were 300 mosquitoes. The research used One Way Analysis of Variance-ANOVA) and Least Significant Difference test.
The research finding found that the average mortality of anopheles sp. in the concentration of 15% was 44,0%, in the concentration of 30% was 68,0%, and in the concentration of 45% was 80,0%. The extract of Stobilanthes crispa Blume leaves was effective on the mortality of anopheles sp. mosquitos (p value for 0,000). In addition, there was a difference on the effectiveness of every concentration level of the extract of Stobilanthes crispa Blume leaves with a positive value, which was the higher the concentration level, the higher the mortality of mosquito.
As a recommendation, people should use natural plants as a natural ingredient to kill mosquito, and one of natural insecticides ingredient which can do that is the extract of Stobilanthes crispa Blume leaves.
