Salah satu upaya dalam menjaga organ genitalia yaitu pemahaman tentang personal hygiene dalam kebersihan organ reproduksi, apabila kurangnya pemahaman tentang personal hygiene tentang organ reproduksi maka akan mengakibatkan berbagai penyakit yang dapat memicu terjadinya kanker. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian yakni bagaimnana gambaran personal hygiene organ genetalia siswi madrasah tsanawiyah alkhairaat kota gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui personal hygiene organ genetalia siswi madrasah tsanawiyah alkhairaat kota gorontalo.
Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan variabel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu perilaku perawatan organ genitalia meliputi tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan serta personal hygiene organ genetalia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 45 hari pada 30 September 2017 sampai dengan 13 November 2017. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 215 orang siswi yang menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner.
Hasil Penelitian: Personal hygiene organ genetalia siswi pesantren Madrasah Tsanawiyah Alkhairat Kota Gorontalo sebagian besar memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik (78,1%), sikap sebagian besar positif (94,0%), dan tindakan sebagian besar baik (93.5%). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini tingkat pengetahuan siswi sebagian besar baik, sikap siswi sebagian besar positif, dan untuk tindakan siswi sebagian besar baik. Disarankan bagi siswi dan juga pihak sekolah agar kiranya diharapkan penelitian ini menjadi acuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi terutama pada personal hygiene organ genitalia dan disarankan juga kepada keluarga agar kiranya memberikan informasi pada siswi mengenai personal hygiene organ genitalia.

One of the efforts in maintaining the genital organ is the understanding of personal hygiene of the reproductive organs. Lack of understanding of personal hygiene about reproductive organs will lead to various diseases that can trigger the occurrence of cancer. The formulation of the problem in the research is to describe the personal hygiene of female students' genital organ at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Alkhairaat Islamic Junior High School in Gorontalo City. This research aims to determine the personal hygiene of genital organ of the female students at the selected school.
This is a descriptive study with variables included genital organ care, involving the level of understanding, behaviors, and actions as well as personal hygiene of the genital organ. The study was conducted for 45 days starting from 30 September until 13 November 2017. The samples were 215 female students by using total sampling and questionnaires as the instrument.
The results of the study found that the personal hygiene of genital organ of the female students mostly had good knowledge level (78,1%), positive attitude (94,0%), and action is mostly good (93.5%). The conclusion of this study shows that the level of knowledge of female students is mostly good, the attitude of female students is mostly positive, and the actions of female students are mostly good. The findings are expected to be a reference for the female students and also to the school to provide information about reproductive health, especially on the personal hygiene of genital organs. It is also advisable for the family to provide information to the student about the personal hygiene of the genital organs.
