Masyarakat yang berada di sekitar peternakan ayam petelur mengungkapkan kebisingan dikarenakan suara ayam dan sangat berdampak negatif pada pendengaran sehingga terjadi gangguan berkomunikasi antara sesama masyarakat. suhu dan kelembaban udara yang ada di tempat tersebut tidak menentu terkadang panas dan kering terkadang juga lembab.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik. Variabel diteliti adalah kenyamanan masyarakat yang diukur melalui Temperature Humidity Index pada kebisingan, suhu dan kelembaban. Sampel berjumlah 300orang, penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, perhitungan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin.
Hasil Penelitian: Nilai rata-rata THI sekitar peternakan ayam petelur di Desa Tamboo Kecamatan Tilongkabila adalah 27,2 dengan kategori tidak nyaman. Rata-rata kebisingan adalah 52,73 dB (A) dikategorikan bising, rata-rata suhu 290C, kelembaban udara 70,5%,
Saran: kiranya pemerintah desa Tamboo dapat memperbaiki kondisi lingkungan hidup pemukiman masyarakat, utamnya lingkungan sekitar peternakan melalui penghijauan lingkungan.

It is known that the community residing nearby the laying chicken farm complains about the noises from the chicken farm, in which the noises impact negatively to the hearing and result in ineffective communication between the community. Moreover, the temperature and humidity within the site is quite unstable.
The observational analytic study involved single variable, i.e. the community's comfort level; the data were obtained by Temperature Humidity Index (THI) to measure the noise, air temperature, and humidity within the site.300 of the local residents were selected as sample by purposive sampling technique which involved Slovin formula.
The result shows that the average THI value nearby the chicken farm in Tamboo village, Tilongkabila district is 27.2, categorized as "uncomfortable". Moreover, the average score of noise is 52.73 dB (A), categorized as "noisy"; the average temperature and humidity at the of research is 290C, and 70.5% respectively.
Further, the study suggests to the local government of Tamboo village to address the problems and improve the condition of environment within the community's residential area, primarily nearby the farm through environment conservation.
