Instalasi Pengolahan Lumpur Tinja adalah instalasi yang dirancang untuk menerima dan mengolah lumpur tinja yang diangkut melalui truk tinja. Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana gambaran kualitas tanah di lokasi IPLT Kelurahan Dulomo Utara Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas tanah di lokasi IPLT Kelurahan Dulomo Utara Kota Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian : kualitas kimia tanah berdasarkan pH dan suhu, kualitas fisika tanah berdasarkan kedalaman tanah, kualitas biologis berdasarkan flora tanah, pemeriksaan mikrobiologis sampel air. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat. Data dijabarkan dan dinarasikan.
Hasil : kualitas kimia berdasarkan pH dalam kondisi masam 400C. Kualitas fisika berdasarkan kedalaman tanah termasuk kategori dangkal 30-60 cm, kualitas biologis berdasarkan flora tanah menunjukkan banyak tumbuhan labu di lokasi IPLT. Pemeriksaan mikrobiologis sampel air menunjukkan 3 sampel diteliti, 1 sampel tercemar bakteri E.coli 2 sampel negatif.
Simpulan : kualitas tanah di lokasi IPLT dapat dikatakan kurang baik berdasarkan pengukuran kualitas kimia tanah, sedangkan dari pemeriksaan sampel air warga juga ditemui salah satu yang sudah tercemar bakteri.

Fecal Sludge Management (FSM) installation is an installation designed to receive and treat sludge transported through vacuum trucks. In the light of this notion, the description of soil quality at the location of the FSM installation in Dulomo UntaraUrban-Village, Gorontalo was formulated as the problem of this study. This study aims to determine the description of soil quality at the location of the research site.
Variables measured in the descriptive research are soil chemical quality based on pH and temperature, soil physical quality based on soil depth, biological quality based on soil flora, and microbiological examination of water samples. The data were analyzed by using univariate analysis; after all, those data weredescribed and narrated.
The analysis signify that chemical quality based on pH in acidic conditions is 400C; physical quality based on soil depth includessuperficialcategory of 30-60 cm, biological quality based on soil flora shows lots of pumpkin plants at the location of the FSM installation; microbiological examination of water samples shows 3 samples studied, 1 sample is contaminated byE. coli bacteria 2 negative samples.
In conclusion, this study deduces the quality of land at the site of FSM installation is poor based on the measurements of soil chemical quality meanwhile from the examination of water samples residents also found one that had been contaminated with bacteria.
