Safety riding merupakan suatu program untuk menekan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas dengan memberikan pemahaman pada masyarakat bahwa berlalu lintas merupakan kegiatan yang menyangkut banyak aspek sehingga harus memperhatikan faktor keamanan dan keselamatan diri pribadi serta orang lain. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah ada pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan dan peran teman sebaya terhadap kepatuhan keselamatan berkendara siswa SMK Tridharma LabSchool UNG. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan dan peran teman sebaya terhadap kepatuhan keselamatan berkendara Siswa SMK Tridharma LabSchool UNG.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan rancangan Cross Sectional. Populasi terdiri dari seluruh siswa SMK Tridharma yang membawa sepeda motor ke Sekolah berjumlah 30 orang, sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan remaja siswa SMK Tridharma terhadap kepatuhan keselamatan berkendara (P=0,000), pengaruh peran teman sebaya terhadap kepatuhan keselamatan berkendara pada remaja siswa SMK Tridharma (P= 0.033). Disarankan para siswa mencari informasi lebih mendalam tentang safety riding di media massa. Serta dapat bersikap simpati maupun empati terhadap sesama teman dalam penerapan safety riding yang baik dan benar. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan dalam berkendara.

Safety riding is a program to reduce the number of traffic accidents by providing an understanding to the community that traffic is an activity that involves many aspects. Therefore, the community should pay attention to the safety and security of personal and other people. The problem statement in this study is whether or not there is an influence of the knowledge level and the peers role on the compliance of riding safety of students of the Vocational School of Tridharma LabSchool UNG. This study aims to analyze the influence of the level of knowledge and role of peers on the compliance of driving safety of Students of the Vocational High School SMK Tridharma LabSchool, UNG.
This type of research is an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional design. This research involved 30 students of all Vocational High School Tridharma who riding motorcycles to the school as the population and samples. The data analysis technique employed the Chi-Square test.
The results show that there is an influence of the knowledge level of the students on compliance with riding safety (P = 0,000), the influence of peer role on compliance with riding safety in adolescent Tridharma Vocational School students (P = 0.033). Therefore, it is recommended to the students for looking in-depth information about safety riding in the mass media. Moreover, the students also should be sympathetic and empathetic to their peers in the application good and correct safety riding in order to improve compliance in riding.
